1180 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 31,

which the Governor's stable and carriage house in the City
of Annapolis have been built, and for the work and labor
done and materials furnished by eaid William Black and
others in the erection of the same.

The question recurring upon the substitute submitted by
Mr. Wells,

Being the bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay William Black for the purchase of a lot and
erection of a stable and carriage house thereon for the State
of Maryland, in the City of Annapolis.

The substitute was adopted.

And the bill read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Kilbourn,

The bill was then made the order of the day for to-morrow,
April 1st.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day,

Being the bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 555, 557,
558, 55y, 560, 561, 562,563, 564, of Article 4, of the Public
Local Laws of Baltitnore city, entitled "Wood," and also to
repeal chapter 116, passed January session 1862, relating to
inspection and cording of fire wood" in Baltimore city.

Said bill being upon its passage,

On motion of Mr. Meekins,

A call of the House was ordered.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members:
