Which was read a first time,

On motion of Mr. Carroll, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senat-
bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore county, to complete the records in his
office, and to provide new indexes to the Land Records there-
in, and to provide the means for paying therefor,

Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Carroll,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill referred to the Baltimore county Relegation.

On motion of Mr. Cooper, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration, of the bill enti-
tled an Act to repeal section 18, of Article 73, of the Public
General Laws, entitled "Penitentiary," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was then read a third time.

On motion of Mr. Cooper,

A call of the House was ordered.

Present at the call of the roll, the following members:
