T12 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 21,

Ordered, That Mr. Kean, of Allegany, have leave of
absence until Wednesday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Cameron submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Gatch be granted leave of absence until
Tuesday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr, McLane submitted the following order;

Ordered, That the Comptroller of the State be requested to
communicate to this House any correspondence or other
papers on file in his office, relating to a claim made by the
Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Company, against the State
of Maryland, for money paid by said Kail Road Company for
and on account of the State.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Marbury submitted the following order;

Ordered, That Mr. Standish, of Allegany, have leave of
