gany, Standish, Myers, Percy, Shower, Jordan, Winters,
Merrick, Gorman, Crawford, Gordy—76.

Mr. Lankford, Chairman of the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the protection of the
owners of land bordering upon the Chesapeake Bay and its
Tributaries, without amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. Chapman, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," said section to be entitled ''De-
faulter," without amendments.

Which was read a second time.
Also, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to Chancery, without amendments,

Which was read a second time.
Also, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 28, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "County Commissioners,"
by adding the following sections, with amendment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all after the word "be," in the 6th line of sec-
tion 105.

Which was adopted.

And the bill, as amended, read a second time.

Mr. Marbury, Chairman of the Committee en Internal Im-
provements, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the erection
of a true meridian line standard in each county of this State,
and to provide for the protection of the same, without amend-
ments.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
