We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate the bill entitled an Act to repeal section 28, of Arti-
cle 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
licenses to Foreign Insurance Companies, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, for further consideration.

Gentlemen of the Senate:

In compliance with your message the House of Dele-
gates herewith returns the bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 28, of Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, &c.,
relating to Licenses to Foreign Insurance Companies, and
re-enact the same.

On motion of Mr. Owings, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill en-
titled an Act to provide for maintaining and keeping in re-
pair the public roads, in Calvert county, and to repeal the
Act passed at January session, 1868, chapter 299, so far as
the same applies to Calvert county,

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
