On motion of Mr. Hopkins,

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed with.

The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day,

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill en-
titled an Act to appropriate the sum of fifty-nine thousand
two hundred and ninety-six dollars and twenty-eight cents
to pay the various mechanics and others, the amounts due
them for work and labor done, and materials furnished in
the erection of the Governor's Mansion, at Annapolis, and
the enclosure and improvement of the grounds surrounding
the same,

Said bill being upon its passage.
