Mr. Markland, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
(the rules being susdended,) reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money to
Benjamin F. May, William H Pitcher and Henry B. Jones,
out of money paid into the Treasury from the inspection of
grain in the City of Baltimore, in the years 1865, 1866
and 1867.

A bill entitled an Act to define the duties of the Fire In-
spector for the City and County of Baltimore.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 164, 163, 167
and 169, of an Act passed January session, 1868, chapter 87,
entitled an Act to add additional sections to Article 11, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the powers and
duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of
Frederick, to follow section 161, and to substitute in lieu of
sections 164, 165, 167 and 169, the following,
