MARYLAND DELEGATES TO REPUBLICAN NATIONAL
CONVENTION, AUGUST 15, 1988________________________________

The Republican State Central Committee elected seventeen at-large delegates to the 1988 Republican
National Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition, three delegates and three alternates were
elected from each congressional district by the qualified Republican voters of that district.

Any person who is a bona fide resident and registered Republican voter in a congressional district may
file to run for election as a delegate to the National Convention from that district. Ax the Convention,
Delegates are committed to vote on the first two ballots for the Republican presidential candidate who
won in the Maryland primary

1ST CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
(Culvert, Caroline, Charles, Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen
Anne's, St. Mary's, Somerset, Talbot, Wicomico & Worcester
