existed on June 1, 1981. Precinct boundaries are
dynamic. Changes occur to reflect population
shifts and to ensure convenient polling places for
all voters. Local election boards can provide cur-
rent information on precincts encompassed within
each district. The text of the Joint Resolution
should be consulted for the boundaries of districts,
precincts, and wards split for the purposes of
redistricting.
