APPROPRIATIONS—CITY OF ANNAPOLIS
The following funds are paid to the City of An-
napolis for services rendered to the State's
building: Annapolis Fire Department. Appro-
priations: 1977, $20,000; 1978, $40,000; 1979,
$40,000; 1980, $40,000; 1981, $40,000; Annap-
olis Garbage Collection. Appropriations: 1977,
$20,000; 1978, $20,000; 1979, $20,000; 1980,
$30,000; 1981, $30,000. Annapolis Police De-
partment. Appropriations: 1980, $20,000; 1981,
$20,000.

Prince George Street, Annapolis 21401. Appro-
priations: 1980, $75,000; 1981, $75,000; 1982,

CIVIL AIR PATROL, MARYLAND WING.
Fort George G. Meade 20755. The funds ap-
propriated are to pay the State's contribution
to the Maryland Wing, Civil Air Patrol, to be
used for basic operating expenses. Appropria-
tions: 1977, $97,659; 1978, $10,000; 1979,
$50,000; 1980, $25,000; 1981, $27,500; 1982,
$30,000.
COUNCIL OF STATE GOVERNMENTS, P.O.
Box 11910, Iron Works Pike, Lexington, Ken-
tucky 40511. The appropriation represents
Maryland's proportionate share of the Coun-
cil's operating expense. The Council is an um-
brella group of various organizations such as
the National Conference of State Legislatures,
the National Association of Attorneys General,
and the National Conference of Lieutenant
Governors, among others. The Council, found-
ed in 1933, is a service organization that
publishes a variety of books, pamphlets, and
newsletters, conducts research ranging from
spot inquiries to in-depth analysis of issues,
and arranges meetings and seminars for the re-

gional branches of its affiliate organizations.

in 1797 for the purpose of collecting, preserv-
ing, disseminating, and interpreting scientific
information for the people of Maryland, Ap-

$125,000; 1982, $119,431; 1983, $125,000.
MARYLAND SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND,
3501 Taylor Avenue, Baltimore 21236. Estab-
lished 1853; serving the educational needs of the
visually impaired and visually impaired multi-
handicapped students, kindergarten through
twelfth grade. Tuition students are accepted
from Maryland, Delaware, District of Colum-
bia and New Jersey. Appropriations: 1977,
$3,083,688; 1978, $3,446,717; 1979, $3,708,527;
1980, $4,030,453; 1981, $4,693,775; 1982,
$5,147,383; 1983, $5,233,278.
MARYLAND STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIA-
TION. The funds appropriated are the State's
share of the pension fund for disabled firemen
or for widows and children of deceased firemen
(Chapter 260, Acts of 1935; Code 1957, Art.
38A). Appropriations: 1977, $57,500; 1978,
$55,000; 1979, $55,000; 1980, $55,000; 1981,
$55,000; 1982, $815,000.
NATIONAL AQUARIUM IN BALTIMORE,
Pier 3, 501 E. Pratt St., Baltimore 21202.
Opened in 1981. Appropriation is to permit
free admission for organized groups of Mary-
land school children. Appropriations: 1983,
$200,000.
