ROBERT F. SWEENEY. Chief Judge, District Court of Mary-
land, 1971—. Bom in Baltimore, September 17, 1926. Attended
Loyola High School; Loyola College; University of Baltimore
Law School, J.D., 1957. Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1957.
Served in the U.S. Navy. Member, Maryland State Bar Associa-
tion (vice-president, 1969-1970). Admitted to practice. Supreme
Court of the United States, 1963. Deputy attorney general of
Maryland, 1966-1971; chief of the Criminal Division, Office of
the Attorney General, 1964-1966; assistant attorney general of
Maryland, 1961-1964; magistrate. Housing Court of Baltimore
City, 1959-1961. Former instructor in law. Villa Julie College;

co-founder. Advocate Club of Baltimore (president, 1960). Mar-
ried; 2 children, 1 grandchild.

ARTHUR A. ANDERSON, JR. District Court, Dis-
trict 7, 1980—. Bom in Baltimore, June 14, 1914. At-
tended Baltimore City College; University of Baltimore,
J.D., 1937. Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1938.
Served in U.S. Army Air Corps, 1941-1946. Member,
Anne Arundel County and Maryland State Bar Associ-
ations. Auditor, Circuit Court for Anne Arundel Coun-

EDWARD J. ANGELETTI. District Court, District 1,
