Baltimore, March 5, 1936. Attended Baltimore City parochial
schools; Mount Saint Joseph High School; Leonard Hall Naval
School; University of Baltimore, B.S., 1965. Public relations di-
rector. Served in the U.S. Army. Delegate to Democratic State
Convention, 1964. Delegate, Constitutional Convention of Mary-
land, 1967-68. Member, American Value Engineers; Catholic War
Veterans; Young Democrats; Holy Name Society; Knights of
Columbus; St. Vincent de Paul Society. Selected to Who's Who
Among Students in American Universities, 1965. Married. Mem-
ber of the House of Delegates since 1971.
WALTER B. DEAN, JR., Democrat, District 41; born in Baltimore,
December 12, 1934. Attended Baltimore public schools; Morgan

Baltimore, J.D., 1969. Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1971.
Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1955-57. Member, Prince
George's County Board of Supervisors of Elections, 1964-69.
Member, Governor's Commission on Childhood Nutrition, 1969;
Maryland Commission on the Concerns of the Spanish-Speaking
