W. K. Kellogg Co. Former teacher. Served in the U.S. Army
during World War II. Member, Elks; Eagles; American Legion.
Unmarried, Member of the House of Delegates since 1971.
BENJAMIN L. CARDIN. Democrat, District 42; born in Baltimore,
October 5, 1943. Attended Baltimore public schools; University
of Pittsburgh, B.A., 1964; University of Maryland Law School.

JOEL CHASNOFF. Democrat, District 14A; born in Uncasville,
Conn., July 18, 1936. Attended University of Connecticut, A.B.,
1957; Georgetown University Law School, J.D., 1964. Admitted
to the Maryland Bar, 1970. Served in the U.S. Army, 1958-61.
Member, Maryland, Montgomery County, District of Columbia
and Federal Bar Associations. Former National Director, Coun-
