Chapter 576—Acts of 1970
An Act to withdraw and repeal Chapter 788 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1969 and to propose amendments to certain
sections of the Constitution of Maryland, by repealing and re enacting
Sections 1, 3, and 13 of Article II, title "Executive Department," and
Sections 14, 15, 27 and 52 (10) of Article III, title "Legislative De-
partment," providing for the convening of the General Assembly,
changing the maximum duration of regular sessions of the General
Assembly, providing for a possible extension thereof, creating a Gen-
eral Assembly Compensation Commission to determine the compensa-
tion and allowances of members of the General Assembly, making
certain compensating changes with respect to the time for inaugurat-
ing the Governor, the time for finally acting upon the budget bill, and
the time for the introduction of bills into the General Assembly,
enacting certain procedural provisions and providing for the duties
of certain State officers in relation thereto, and providing for the
submission of this amendment to the qualified voters of the State of
Maryland for their adoption or rejection
