ness College, Wilmington, Delaware. Member of the Board and Execu-
tive Committee, Education Commission of the States. Member, South-
ern Regional Education Board since 1959. Member, National Confer-
ence of State Legislative Leaders, and first woman member elected
to its Executive Committee; Governor's Commission to Study the
Structure and Governance of Education; Governor's Commission to
Study Negotiations within Public Education Agencies. Member, Na-
tional and Maryland Order of Women Legislators. Member, Eastern
Shore State Hospital Auxiliary. Member and past president Junior

citation for Christian citizenship presented by the National Council
