Richardson, M.D., 1978. 1010 One Charles Center, Baltimore 21201 Telephone: 752-3200 The Injured Workers' Rehabilitation Committee, created by Chap- ter III, Acts of 1960, consists of six members appointed by the Gov- ernor to advise the Workmen's Compensation Commission on all phases of the rehabilitation of Injured workers, including those whose claims are ultimately denied or those who are held not to be in the coverage of the laws relating to Workmen's Compensation. The Com- mittee consists of the Chairman of the Workmen's Compensation Com- mission and the Assistant State Superintendent of Vocational Re- habilitation, both of whom serve as ex officio members, and one employee, one employer, a representative of a casualty insurance company and a registered physician. The Governor designates the Chairman, and the Committee members serve for six-year terms (Code 1957, 1969 Repl. Vol., Art. 77, sec. 295). Carey, Jr., Executive Director International Tower Bldg., Suite 600, 6510 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum 21090 Telephone: 796-4420 The Interagency Committee for School Construction was established by the Board of Public Works as authorized by Chapter 624, Acts of 1971, to assemble, amend, and keep up to date an annual and a five- year program of elementary and secondary school capital improve- ments funded or to be funded by the State, including remodeling of school facilities. The program contains the estimated cost of each project. Each local board of education is required to submit to the Com- mittee by October I of each year its updated and detailed capital improvement program for the following fiscal year to be accompanied by a school capital improvement program for the ensuing five years, both of which shall have been approved by the appropriate local governing bodies.
