Publica- tions: THE PATRIOT; BANNER; Newsletter; Historical and educational folders, and National Flag Week brochures; as well as Battle of Baltimore (1814) Maps. Annual Reports. Appro- priations: 1971, $9,600; 1972, $9,500. MARYLAND STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The funds appro- priated are the State's share of the pension fund for disabled fire- men or for widows and children of deceased firemen (Chapter 260, Acts of 1935). Appropriations: 1971, $50,000; 1972, $60,000. CIVIL AIR PATROL, MARYLAND WING. The funds appropriated are to pay the State's contribution to the Maryland Wing, Civil Air Patrol, to be used for basic operating expenses. Appropria- tions: 1971, $71,660; 1972, $77,390. MARYLAND ACADEMY OF SCIENCES, 7 W. Mulberry Street, Bal- timore 21201; Nigel O'C. Wolff, Director; established in 1797 for the purpose of collecting, preserving, disseminating, and inter- preting scientific information for the people of Maryland.
