Adkins II, Director 140 Main Street, Annapolis 21404 Telephone: 267-5989 The Governor appointed this special twenty-six member Commis- sion in 1970 to undertake the first reorganization and recodification of the Annotated Code of Maryland in more than eighty years. The Commission is to study and undertake a formal bulk revision of the Public General Laws of Maryland, in order to improve the organiza- tion, accessibility, utility and clarity of laws, and to eliminate .uncon- stitutional, obsolete and inconsistent or conflicting statutes. The Com- mission is also to study and recommend solutions to the problems of assembling and publishing Public Local Laws, executive orders, agency regulations and other significant legislative and executive materials. The Commission will submit proposals and recommenda- tions to the General Assembly from time to time. S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training. In conjunction with the opening, the Governor and the Mayor of Baltimore City jointly appointed a Citizens Advisory Com- mittee.
