Died at Shoal Creek, December 13, 1834. Buried in the Christ Protestant Episcopal Church Cemetery, Cambridge. * James Brice of Annapolis, a member of the Governor' s Council. became Acting Governor upon the death of Governor Plater (on February 10 1792. He served -until April 2 of the same year when he was succeeded by Thomas Sim Lee. ' Governor Wright resigned on May 6, 1809. James Butcher, a member of the Governor's Council, became Acting Governor and served for one month, or until June 5, 1809, when his successor, Edward Lloyd, qualified. |
