CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
Chapter 121—Acts of 1962
An Act to propose an amendment to Section 38 of Article III of the
Constitution of Maryland, title "Legislative Department," amending
the provision concerning imprisonment for debt in order to provide
that a valid decree of a court of competent jurisdiction or agreement
approved by decree of said court for the support of an illegitimate
child or children shall not constitute a debt within the meaning of
this section; and providing for the submission of this amendment to
the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for adoption or rejection.
