VOTER REGISTRATION FIGURES
As Of October 19, 1962

All polling places in State are open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M., except
Baltimore City where they open at 6 A.M. and close at 7 P.M.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR VOTING IN MARYLAND

In order to vote in Maryland, a person must be a citizen of the
United States at least twenty-one years of age. He must have resided
in the State for one year, and in the county or legislative district for
six months prior to the date of the election. He must also have been
registered with the Board of Election Supervisors in the county or
legislative district in which he resides.
