timore; Nigel O'C. Wolff, Director; established in 1797 for the
purpose of collecting, preserving, disseminating and interpreting
scientific information for the people of Maryland. Appropriations:
1963, $10,000; 1964, $15,000.
MARYLAND STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION. The funds appro-
priated are the State's share of the pension fund for disabled fire-
men or for widows and children of deceased firemen (Chapter 260,
Acts of 1935). Appropriations: 1963, $22,500; 1964, $22,500.
STATE-AIDED HEALTH SERVICES
HOSPITAL FOR THE CONSUMPTIVES OF MARYLAND (EUDO-
WOOD SANATORIUM), Towson; established 1894; Colonel James
R. Hamilton, Superintendent. Six members of the Board of Direc-
tors are appointed by the Governor for a six-year term. The Gov-
ernor's appointees are: Mrs. H. Frew Waidner, Jr., 1965; Morris
Kasoff, 1965; Henry Davis, 1967; James J. Dembeck, 1967; Mrs.
