The title of the executive officer is Mayor, except in those towns
marked with an asterisk (*). Information was not available at press
time about the names of the executive officers and the dates of the
expiration of their terms of office for the following cities and towns:
Chesapeake Beach, Henderson, Hillsboro, Marydel, Hampstead, Mount
Airy, Cecilton, Brookview, East New Market, Emmitsburg, New
Market, Upper Marlboro, and Queenstown. For these municipalities,
the names and dates given are the same as those in the 1961-1962
edition of the MANUAL. The list below was compiled from informa-
tion furnished by the Maryland Municipal League.
