Second District: Harford, Carroll and Baltimore counties.
Third District: First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh,
Eighth, Twenty-second, Twenty-third, and Twenty-fourth Wards of
Baltimore City; the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and
ninth precincts of the Eighteenth Ward of Baltimore City; the first to
thirty-fourth precincts, inclusive, of the Twenty-sixth Ward; and the
first precinct of the Twenty-seventh ward.
Fourth District: Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, Thirteenth, Four-
teenth, Seventeenth, Nineteenth and Twentieth Wards of Baltimore
City; the first and second precincts of the Eighteenth Ward; the
thirty-seventh to fifty-sixth precincts, inclusive, and the seventy-sixth
to eightieth precincts, inclusive, of the Twenty-seventh Ward of Balti-
more City.
Fifth District: The twelfth to the nineteenth precincts, inclusive, of
the Twenty-fifth Ward of Baltimore City, and St. Mary's, Charles,
Calvert, Prince George's, Anne Arundel and Howard counties.
Sixth District: Allegany, Garrett, Washington, Frederick and Mont-
gomery counties.
Seventh District: The Fifteenth, Sixteenth, Twenty-first and Twenty-
eighth Wards; the first to the eleventh precincts of the Twenty-fifth
Ward; the thirty-fifth to forty-fifth precincts, inclusive, of the Twenty-
sixth Ward; the second to thirty-sixth precincts, inclusive, the fifty-
seventh to seventy-fifth precincts, inclusive, and the eighty-first to
one-hundred-fifth precincts, inclusive, of the Twenty-seventh Ward of
Baltimore City.*

* By Chapter 206, Acts of 1961, the State was divided into eight Congressional
Districts. These changes were to be effective for the election of the eight repre-
sentatives in tile primary and the general elections of 1962. However, a referen-
dum petition will cause the election of the eighth representative to be from the
State at large. By terms of the Act, the boundaries of the 3rd and 5th Congres-
sional Districts were adjusted.
