January 26, 1914. Attended Baltimore public schools; University of
Baltimore; University of Baltimore Law School, LL.B., 1937. Admitted
to the Maryland Bar, 1937. Assistant Attorney General of Maryland,
1947-54. Assistant City Solicitor of Baltimore City since 1965. Chair-
man, Governor's Commission on Provident Hospital, 196O. Member,
American, Maryland, and Baltimore Bar Associations; Masons; Cap-
tain, Yedz Grotto Mounted Patrol. Married. Member of the Senate,
1959-1961." Chairman, Joint Committee on Investigation 1960-61. Re-
signed, May 1,1961.

SAMUEL W. BARRICK, Democrat, Frederick County; born in
Woodsboro, September 27, 1924. Attended Woodsboro and Frederick
public schools; Mercersburg Academy, Mercersburg, Pa.; Severn
School, Severna Park, Md.; Gettysburg College, A.B., 1948; Univer-
sity of Maryland Law School, LL.B, 1952. Admitted to the Maryland
