Baltimore Port—In 1965 the port handled 15,458,134 long tons of
imports and 7,368,760 long tons of exports. In total tonnage, Bal-
timore ranks as the second port in the country. Chief imports are
ores, oil, fertilizer, sugar; exports are grain, coal and metal
products.
