JAMES WEINROTH, Democrat, Cecil County; born in Philadel-
delphia, Pennsylvania, May 30, 1907. Attended Cecil County public
schools; University of Pennsylvania, B.S. 1927; Temple University
School of Law, LL.B. 1933. Member of the Maryland Bar. Trial
Magistrate, Cecil County, 1947-51; former counsel to the Board of
license Commissioners, Cecil County. Member, Masons; Odd Fellows;
Elks. Married. Elected to the Senate in 1954. Died March, 1957.

H. WINSHIP WHEATLEY, JR., Democrat, Prince George's
County; born in Washington, D. C., March 22, 1908. Attended Prince
George's County public schools; Georgetown University; National
University Law School. Member of the Maryland and District of Co-
lumbia Bars. Served in U. S. Navy, World War II, 1841-46. Hyatts-
ville City Attorney, 1932-39. State's Attorney, Prince George's County,
1939-41. Appointed Special Prosecutor, 1947. Vice chairman, county
chapter, American Red Cross. Active in Veterans' organizations.
Married. Elected to the Senate in 1954.

more, December 28, 1902. Attended Baltimore public schools.
Executive Secretary, Rent Housing Commission. Married. Elected
to the House of Delegates in 1964.

JOSEPH A. ACKER, Democrat, Baltimore 3rd; born in Balti-
more, December 19, 1898. Attended St. James parochial school. In-
vestigator and adjuster. Member, panel of the War Labor Board,
1943-45. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

JOHN T. ADAMS, Democrat, Dorchester County; born in Cam-
bridge, April 29, 1905. Attended Cambridge public schools. Fuel
dealer. Judge of the Orphans' Court, 1938-50. Member, Advisory
Committee, Boy Scout Troop 188. Master Mason. Married. Elected
to the House of Delegates in 1950.

HOWARD E. ANKENEY, Democrat, Washington County; born
near Clear Spring, August 12, 1903. Attended school at Charlton.
Merchant. Director, Washington County Council of Boy Scouts. Mem-
ber, Odd Fellows; Elks; Eagles; Moose; Fraternal Order of Police.
Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1942.

CAMILLO N. ANTONELLI, Democrat, Baltimore 2nd; born in
Baltimore August 27, 1915. Attended Baltimore parochial schools;
Baltimore City College. Welder. Member, State Central Committee
for the 2nd Legislative District of Baltimore; Northeast Italian-
American Democratic Club; Knights of Columbus. Married. Ap-
pointed to the House of Delegates in June 1955.

JESSE J. ASHBY, Republican, Garrett County; born in Crellin,
January 29, 1890. Attended Garrett County public schools. Former
Deputy Sheriff, Sheriff, Treasurer, and Clerk to the County Com-
missioners of Garrett County. Former member, Oakland City Council.
Member, Masons; Knights of Pythias; Woodmen of the World. Un-
married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1954.

CARL W. BACHARACH, Democrat, Baltimore 5th; born in Balti-
more, July 27, 1921. Attended Baltimore public schools; Baltimore
City College; University of Maryland, A.B. 1942, LL.B. 1947. Mem-
ber of the Maryland Bar. Served in the U. S. Army, 1942-45. Member,
