MARY L. NOCK, Democrat, Wicomico County; born at Green Hill,
Wicomico 'County, Maryland. Attended public schools of Wicomico
County, graduate of Beacom Business College, Wilmington, Delaware.
Housewife. Married. Member of Legislative Council. Elected to the
House of Delegates in 1946.

JOHN-CLARENCE NORTH, Democrat, Talbot County; born at Tilgh-
man, Maryland, August 25, 1922. Attended the public schools of
Easton and the University of Baltimore. Attorney. Member of the
Maryland Bar, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias, Lions, V.F.W.
Served in U. S. Navy during World War II. Married. Elected to the
House of Delegates in 1950.

JOHN J. NOWAKOWSKI, Democrat, Baltimore 1st; born in Baltimore,
June 5, 1900. Attended public and parochial schools in Baltimore and
the University of Maryland. Attorney. Member of the Maryland Bar.
Chief Clerk, House of Delegates 1933-1939 and Chief Clerk, Board of
Supervisors of Elections, Baltimore City, 1939-1947. Married. Elected
to the House of Delegates in 1950.

WILLIAM C. O'MALLEY, Democrat, Baltimore 3rd; born at Clinton,
Mass., March 7, 1896. Attended the public schools of Clinton.
Accountant. Served as Sergeant in the Medical Department during
World War 1. Married. Appointed to the House of Delegates in 1944.

PRESTON A. PAIRO, JR., Democrat, Baltimore 5th; born in Baltimore,
June 5, 1927. Attended public schools in Baltimore and graduated
from the University of Baltimore in 1951. Attorney. Member of the
Junior Bar of Baltimore City, Masons, Shriners. Served in U. S.
Navy 1945-1946. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

JOSEPH B. PAYNE, Republican, Frederick County; born at Leesburg,
Va., December 15, 1894. Attended the public schools of Brunswick.
Employed by the B. & O. Railroad. Served with the 28th Division,
111th Infantry, Company K, 1917-1924. Married. Member of the
House of Delegates, 1935-1939. Reelected to the House of Delegates
in 1946.

MYRTLE A. POLK, Democrat, Worcester County; born in Bangor,
Pa., January 10, 1902. Attended the public schools of Pocomoke,
Walnut Lane School for Girls, Maryland College for Women and
Depauw University. Member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Soroptimist
Club, Inner Wheel, Woman's Club and Maryland Woman's Council.
Building Material. Member of Pocomoke City Council 1948-1950.
Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

MORTON C. POLLACK, Democrat, Baltimore 4th; born in Baltimore,
August 8, 1929. Attended public school in Baltimore, McDonogh
School, the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore.
Insurance broker. Mason. Married. Appointed to the House of
Delegates 1951.

S. PETER POLLACK, Democrat, Baltimore 4th; born September 5,
1906, Baltimore. Attended the public schools of Baltimore. Engaged
in insurance business. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates
in 1942.

LEROY PUMPHREY, Democrat, Prince George's County. Born in
Prince George's County. Attorney, farmer and banker. Majority
Leader 1947-1950. Unmarried. Elected to the House of Delegates in
