of the Board of the Kent County Home. Married. Elected to the
House of Delegates in 1938.

S. FENTON HARRIS, Republican, Frederick County; born in Fred-
erick County. Attended the public schools of Frederick County,
Western Maryland College, Lincoln-Jefferson University and the
Johns Hopkins University. School teacher for 36 years, now account-
ant. Chairman, Board of Auditors of Frederick County, 1918-1921.
Unmarried. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

ALBERT B. HASSALL, Republican, Prince George's County; born in
Bowie, October 28, 1890. Attended Bowie elementary school, Marlboro
Academy, Grant Orr Business College and National University School
of Law. Attorney. Member of the Maryland Bar, Maryland Historical
Society, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Eastern Star. Married. Elected
to the House of Delegates in 1950.

CHARLES F. HENNING, Democrat, Baltimore 1st; born in Baltimore,
January 16, 1906. Attended the public schools of Baltimore. Driver-
salesman. Member of the Democratic State Central Committee. Mar-
ried. Appointed to the House of Delegates in 1951.

GEORGE D. HICKS, Republican, Washington County; born March 19,
1886 at Hicksville. Attended the public school at Cearfoss. Read law
under an attorney at Hagerstown, admitted to the Bar in 1922.
Judge of Juvenile Court, Washington County, 1935-1939; Public
school teacher; U. S. postal employee for 10 years. Married. Member
of the House of Delegates 1927-1938. Reelected in 1946.

WILLIAM L. HODGES, Democrat, Baltimore 6th; born in Baltimore,
December 8, 1907. Attended St. Jerome's and City College. Restau-
rant owner. Member V.F.W. Served in the U. S. Navy 1944-1945.
Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

SAMUEL HOPKINS, Republican, Baltimore 3rd; born in Howard
County, October 18, 1913. Attended Howard County public schools,
McDonogh School, The Johns Hopkins University and the University
of Maryland Law School. Assistant Treasurer and member of the
Trust Committee of the Fidelity Trust Company. Member of the
Maryland Bar, director of Baltimore Goodwill Industries and the
Maryland Tuberculosis Association. Served in the U. S. Navy 1942-
1945. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

WILLIAM R. HUGHES, Republican, Prince George's County; born in
Annapolis, January 26, 1918. Attended Annapolis public schools,
Landon Preparatory School, St. John's College and Catholic Uni-
versity. Real estate broker. Member of Civitan Club. Served in U. S.
Navy 1941. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1950.

JOHN B. HUYETT, Democrat, Washington County; born at Wilson,
January 14, 1893. Attended the public schools of Washington County.
Bakery operator. Member Board of Liquor License Commissioners
1933-1938; Sheriff of Washington County, 1942-1946. Married.
Elected to the House of Delegates in 1946.

DOROTHY T. JACKSON, (Mrs. Charles E. Miller), Democrat, Balti-
more County; born in Baltimore, June 25, 1924. Attended the public
schools of Baltimore County and the University of Maryland. Attor-
ney. Member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Women's Bar
Association and the Soroptimist Club. Married. Elected to the House
of Delegates in 1950.
