ANDERS R. LOFSTRAND, JR., Republican, Montgomery County; born
in Washington, D. C., December 7, 1912. Attended the public schools
of the District of Columbia, George Washington University and
Washington & Lee University. Manufacturer. Married. Elected to
the House of Delegates in 1946. Member Legislative Council since
1947. Elected minority leader 1951.

JOHN WOOD LOGAN, Democrat, Caroline County; born in Rockport,
Mass., 1911. Canner, farmer, realtor. Served in the U. S. Army Sig-
nal Corps 1943-1945. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates
in 1960.

CARROLL LOWE, Democrat, Talbot County; born at McDaniel, Mary-
land, June 14, 1892. Educated at St. Michael's High School and the
University of Maryland. Farmer. Served during World War I as
First Lieutenant in the 48th and 89th Infantry Regiments and in Or-
ganized Reserves until 1934. Former member of Democratic State
Central Committee; former President of Talbot County Farm Bureau.
Unmarried. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1946.

JOHN C. LUBER, Speaker, Democrat, Baltimore 5th; born in Balti-
more, November 22, 1903. Attended parochial schools in Baltimore.
Accountant. Member: Real Estate Board, National Railroad Pen-
sion Forum. Married. Elected to the House of Delegates in 1938;
Majority Floor Leader, 1942-1946.

FREDERICK W. LUCAS, Democrat, Dorchester County; born in Vine-
land, N. J., January 19, 1903. Attended public school in Philadelphia.
Merchant, Chairman, Dorchester County Commission for Youth,
member Chamber of Commerce, Elks. Married. Elected to the House
of Delegates in 1950.

JOHN F. MCNULTY, Democrat, Anne Arundel County; born at
Crisfield, Maryland, May 29, 1896. Educated at the University of
Maryland and St. Charles College, Cape Charles, Virginia, graduating
in 1916. Served in the U. S. Navy as a Lieutenant Commander, 1917-
1919; and as a Captain, 1942-1945. Former State Service Officer for
the Maryland Veterans Commission. President of Maryland State
Firemen's Association, 1940. State Commander, American Legion,
1934-1935. Member Legislative Council. Married. Elected to the
House of Delegates in 1946.

JOSEPH V. MACH, Democrat, Baltimore 2nd; born in Petersburg,
Virginia, March 5, 1921. Attended public schools in Virginia. Sales-
man. Member of American Legion, Czechoslovak-American Civic As-
sociation. Served in the U. S. Navy 1944-1946. Married. Elected to
the House of Delegates in 1950.

C. ORMAN MANAHAN, Democrat, Howard County; born in Ellicott
City, September 18, 1911. Attended the public schools of Ellicott
City, Mt. St. Joseph and the University of Baltimore. Attorney. Mem-
ber of the Maryland Bar, Kiwanis Club, Knights of Columbus.
Served in the U. S. Navy 1943-1946. Married. Elected to the House
of Delegates in 1950.

J. PAULL MARSHALL, Republican, Montgomery County; born in
Parkersburg, West Va., May 20, 1912. Attended public school in
Washington, D. C., Deerfield Academy, Amherst College, the Law
School of Yale University and Benjamin Franklin University, grad-
uating with a degree of B.C.S. Attorney. Member of the District of
Columbia Bar. Research Assistant to Senator Robert A. Taft 1941.
