including the incumbent member, which list has been submitted to him
by the Maryland Chiropractic Association. Such members shall
serve for a period of three years (Code 1947, Supp. Art. 43, sec, 442;
Acts 1949, Ch. 704). The Board examines applicants for licenses,
investigates all complaints, and if necessary reports same to the
State's Attorney.

The Board of Examiners and Registration of Architects was estab-
lished in 1935. The five-member Board is appointed by the Gov-
ernor. The term of each member is five years; the term of one
member expiring each year. Appointees to the Board must have been
engaged in the independent practice of architecture for at least ten
years, and at least three of the members must be graduates of
approved schools of architecture. The chairman of the Board is
designated by the Governor. The Board passes upon all matters per-
taining to the registration of architects in the State of Maryland. All
persons seeking to practice architecture in the State must submit to
an examination or provide satisfactory evidence of their qualifications
to the Board before being registered and licensed to practice (Code
1939, Art. 43, sec. 459).
