TUBERCULOSIS HOSPITALS
Victor F. Cullen State Hospital

State Sanatorium, near Sabillasville Telephone: Highfield 91

This institution, located in Frederick County, was established in
1908, formerly known as the State Sanatorium, the name was changed
by the State Board of Health in 1949. The sanatorium provides for
the care of patients in all stages of tuberculosis; the average number
of patients is 325.

Henryton State Hospital

Elmer P. Sauer, M.D., Medical Director and Acting Superintendent

This hospital, located in Carroll County, was established in 1923.
It provides for the care of 390 colored patients in all stages of tuber-
culosis.

Mount Wilson State Hospital
Mount Wilson Telephone: Pikesville 68

Mount Wilson was established in 1925 and is located in Baltimore
County. It provides for the care of 209 patients in all stages of tu-
berculosis.
