PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS TO BE

SUBMITTED TO THE PEOPLE AT

THE GENERAL ELECTION

IN NOVEMBER, 1946

(Acts of 1945)

CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

Chapter 529 of the Acts of 1945 proposes an amendment
to Section 12 of Article V of the Constitution of the State
of Maryland relating to bonds of State's Attorneys.

Chapter 659 of the Acts of 1945 proposes an amendment
to Section 1 (c) of Article 11B of the Constitution of Mary-
land relating to the powers of the Baltimore Redevelopment
Commission.

Chapter 703 Acts of 1945 proposes an amendment to Sec-
tion 5 of Article 4 of the Constitution of the State of Mary-
land, title "Judiciary Department," relating to the vacancies
in the office of the Chief Judge of the Supreme Bench of
Baltimore City.

Chapter 786 Acts of 1945 proposes an amendment to Sec-
tion 44 of Article 4 of the Constitution of the State of Mary-
land, title "Judiciary Department," sub-title "Part VII:
'Sheriffs'," relating to the election and compensation of
Sheriffs.
