Origin of Name—After General Richard Montgomery.
Date of Formation—1776. Area—497.04 square miles.
Court Terms—Jury, third Monday in March, second Monday in
November. Non-jury, third Monday in January, first Monday in
June.
Orphans' Court Days—Every Tuesday.
