LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
Chapter 62 of the Acts of 1939.

Established by an Act of the 1939 session of the General Assembly,
the Legislative Council is a fact-finding group that functions between
sessions of the Legislature, reviewing legislation already enacted, and
studying and recommending new legislation for consideration by the
General Assembly.
