CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS
(CHAPTER 716, 1941)
AN ACT to propose an amendment to Article 38 of the Decla-
ration of Rights to the Constitution of the State of Maryland,
relating to gifts, devises and other transfers to or for certain
preachers and religious sects, orders or denominations, and
providing for the submission of said amendment to the quali-
fied voters of the State of Maryland for adoption or rejection.

AN ACT to propose an amendment to Section 15 of Article 3
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, title "Legislative
Department, " regulating the period that the General Assembly
may continue its session and the compensation of the mem-
bers thereof, and to provide for the submission of said amend-
ment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for adop-
tion or rejection.

AN ACT to propose an amendment to Article III of the Con-
stitution of the State of Maryland, title "Legislative Depart-
ment" by adding a new section to be known as Section 40B,
providing for the taking of property by the State Roads Com-
mission under certain circumstances; and to provide for the
submission of said amendment to the qualified voters of the
State of Maryland for adoption or rejection.

AN ACT to propose an amendment to Section 45 of Article III
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, title "Legisla-
tive Department," relating to the salary of Clerks of Courts
and Registers of Wills, and providing for the submission of
said amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Mary-
land for adoption or rejection.
