REFERENDUMS WASHINGTON COUNTY Chapter 318, Acts of 1931 An Act to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title “Washington County,” sub-title “County Commissioners,” said new section to be known as Section 149A and to follow immediately after Section 149 of said Article, authorizing and directing the County Commissioners of Wash- ington County to pay to the Mayor and Council or the Burgess and Commissioners of the incorporated cities and towns in said county certain sums of money for the repair, maintenance and/or improve- ment of streets and roads. For the Referred Law 7,022 Against the Referred Law 9,188 CECIL COUNTY Chapter 510, Acts of 1931 An Act to authorize and direct the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County to borrow upon the faith and credit of said county to the amount of one million dollars ($1,000,000), and to issue and sell bonds maturing annually therefor, the proceeds thereof to be used by the State Roads Commission of Maryland for the construction and improvement of roads and bridges in said county; to create a board to be known as the Road Auxiliary Board of Cecil County and defining its powers and duties; to provide for an annual levy on the assessable property of Cecil County to pay interest and principal on said bonds when due.
