AMENDMENT TO BALTIMORE CITY CHARTER

RESOLUTION No. 7, APPROVED SEPTEMBER 27, 1934.

This amendment corrects an inconsistency in the provisions of Sec-
tion 36 of the City Charter now reading as follows: “No temporary
loan shall be authorized or made to pay any deficiency arising from
a failure to realize sufficient income from revenue and taxation to
meet the amounts provided in said Ordinance of Estimates but the
City Council may temporarily borrow money for its use in anticipa-
tion of the receipts of taxes levied for any year,” by deleting the
word “Council” which, through inadvertence and error, was incor-
porated in said provision after the word “City” at the time of the
submission and adoption of the present Charter.
