JUDICIAL COUNCIL
Provided for by Acts of 1924, Ch. 549, for the continuous study of
the methods of practice and procedure in the Courts of Maryland, to
submit suggestions from time to time for the consideration of the
Judges, and to report its recommendations each session of the General
Assembly.

recommended by the Judges of each of the Eastern Shore

‘LAND LAWS COMMISSION.
The Legislature of 1929, by Chapter 527, authorized the Governor
to appoint a commission of five members, of whom not more than three
should be of the same political party, to investigate the land and in-
heritance laws of the State, and to recommend to the Governor and
the General Assembly of 1931 revisions thereof as they deem advisable.
The Legislature of 1931, by Joint Resolution No. 16, enlarged this
commission by the addition of two members, and directed it to con-
tinue its work and submit its report to the Governor and the General
Assembly of 1933, and by Joint Resolution No. 6 of 1933, the Com-
mission was directed to continue its work and report to the Legislature
of 1935 and by Joint Resolution No. 21 of 1935, the Commission was
again directed to continue its work and to report to the Governor not
later than December 31st, 1936. The members of the Commission
are:

C. Alexander Fairbank, Jr - Baltimore City
F. Leonard Wailes . Salisbury
James Clark Ellicott City
Edward H. Burke - Towson
