AMENDMENT TO BALTIMORE CITY
CHARTER
RESOLUTION No. 7, APPROVED SEPTEMBER
27, 1934.
This amendment corrects an inconsistency in the
provisions of Section 36 of the City Charter now
reading as follows: "No temporary loan shall be
authorized or made to pay any deficiency arising
from a failure to realize sufficient income from
revenue and taxation to meet the amounts provided
in said Ordinance of Estimates but the City Council
may temporarily borrow money for its use in anti-
cipatIon of the receipts of taxes levied for any year,"
by deleting the word "Council" which, through mad-
vertence and error, was incorporated in said provi-
sion after the word "City" at the time of the sub-
mission and adoption of the present Charter.
