STATE PAY ROLL

FISCAL YEARS 19341935

NOTE.The Budgets for 19331934 and for 19341935 contain the
following provision applicable to the State payroll for those years

Deductions from salaries of all individuals included in this payroll
shall be retained in the State Treasury for the purpose of reducing the
expenses of the State Government, which deductions shall be made at
the time of each salary payment on the following annual salary scale
Less than $1,200 not less than 10 per cent
$1200 to $1,799 not less than II per cent
$1 800 to $2 300 not less than 12 per cent
$2 400 to $2 999 not less than 13 per cent
$3 000 to $3 599 not less than 14 per cent
$3 600 or more not less than 15 per cent

$6,87500. The State further pays Baltimore City $1,62500, which
represents the difference between $6,875 00 actually paid to the Judges
and $8,500 00 appropriated to them
