book, subject to the inspection of the inhabitants of said village
at all times.

ClKCTJIT GOUKT.

68. There shall be two terms of the Circuit Court for Queen
Anne's county, commencing at Centreville, in said county, on the
first Monday in May and the first Monday in November, in each
year.

69. The judge of the Circuit Court for said county, in his dis-
cretion, may appoint intermediate terms between the Circuit
Court terms for the transaction of equity business, to which said
terms equity business shall be returnable as well as to the stated
terms of the Circuit Court.

CBIEB.

70. The crier of the Circuit Court for said county .shall be
entitled to two dollars a day for each day he shall attend the
sittings of said court, in lieu of all fees; and the crier of the
Orphans' Court, one dollar and fifty cents for each day.

COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.

71. There shall be three county commissioners for Queen
Anne's county.

72. Bach county commissioner for said county shall be entitled
to two dollars for each day's attendance, and if he shall reside
one mile or more from the county town, he shall, in addition to
his per diem, be entitled to mileage at the rate of six and a
quarter cents a mile for the distance necessarily travelled from
his residence to the county town on each day's attendance.

73. They shall appoint a person well qualified, and a resident
of said county, as their clerk, who, before entering upon the
duties of his office, shall, before one of said commissioners, take
and subscribe the following oath: " I, A. B., do swear that, as
clerk to the county commissioners of Queen Anne's county, I
will honestly and faithfully, to the best of my skill and judgment,
execute the duties of said office, without favor, affection or pre-
•judice, so help me God." '
