Circuit Court of Kent county within one year and have the same
abated upon showing cause.
107. The said town commissioners shall have power to make
such ordinances as may be necessary to protect and advance the
health, peace and welfare of the town, not contrary to law.
108. The limits of said town shall be a square whose sides
shall measure eight hundred and eighty yards each, and said sides
shall be four hundred and forty yards distant from the centre of
the crossing of the present roads in said town.
109. The said corporation shall issue no scrip, certificate, note,
or other device or evidence of debt, to be used as a currency.
Hoos.
110. Any swine found running at large in the village of Ohes-
terville, or the village of The Head of Sassafras, in Kent county,
or within two miles of the centre of the last named village, fixing
what was formerly Olayton's Hotel as the centre thereof, may
be taken up and sold by any person in said villages, or the
neighborhood thereof; Provided, five days' notice of such sale
shall be given, and the owner may at any time before a sale
'redeem such swine by paying to the person who took up the
same fifty cents per head; and if any swine are sold under this
section, the proceeds shall be paid to the treasurer of the school
district in which such swine may be taken up, after deducting
the expenses of keeping the same, and one dollar per head for the
person who took up and sold the same.
JURORS.
111. Each juror summoned to attend the Circuit 'Court for
Kent county shall be entitled to receive, for each day he shall
attend said court as a juror, the sum of one dollar and fifty cents,
and ia addition thereto an allowance of six and a quarter cents
for every mile his place of residence shall be distant from the
place of holding the Circuit Court, such mileage to be computed
for each day he shall attend court.
112. The county commissioners of said county shall levy
annually, one year in advance, such sum of money as they may
deem sufficient to discharge all claims which may accrue for
