money due under said order (which account shall be verified by
the affidavit of any such teacher) it shall be the duty of the
commissioners for the district to give such teacher an order
upon the judges of the Orphans' Court for said judges to pay,
out of any money in their hands standing to the credit of the
commissioners' of said district, and to take and deposit such
order, with the voucher of its payment, with the register of wills,
to be by him preserved among the other papers relative to this
fund in said court; Provided, no poor child residing in a free
school district shall be selected as aforesaid.

184. The judges of the Orphans' Court are authorized and
required to appoint three commissioners, whenever requested
by petition in writing, signed by a majority of the voters of
any school district in said county, to alter and change the
present school districts, and to form and establish new districts,
whenever, in their judgment, the interest and convenience of
the people shall require it; and any alteration or change which
they shall make or authorize to be made, or any new districts
which they may form, shall be set forth in writing, under their
hands and seals, and filed with the register of wills of the county;

this section, not to apply to election districts number three and
four.

185. The Orphans' Court shall have full power to change the
lines of any school district as they may think proper for better-
ing the condition of said school district.

.186. The commissioners so appointed shall not be taken from-
the school district applying for such alteration or change, and
they shall each receive the sum of one dollar for every day's
attendance, to be paid out of the school fund allotted to such
district.

187. Upon application, in writing, of ton taxable inhabitants
within the limits of any school district lying in election districts
numbers one or two, and not previously organized as a poor
school district, to the Orphans' Court, it shall be their duty, and
they are required, to appoint three suitable persons, residents of
the districts applying for the establishment of a primary school
therein, to hold an election, and notify said persons so appointed
under their hands in any manner most convenient.
