He shall receive an annual salary of one thousand dollars, to be paid quarterly out of the treasury, deducting therefrom the amount of fees received each quarter, a statement whereof shall be made to the Comptroller, under oath. ARTICLE LIII. TENANTS HOLDING OVER. SEC. 1. In all cases where lands, tenements or messuages are pose shall give notice in writing one month before the tenancy same, if the said tenant shall refuse to comply therewith, upon the lands, tenements, or messuages are situated. 2. The said justices, upon due proof made before them, that I fourth day after issuing the same. 3.
