NOTES.
CHAP. 8. The words of this statute are nearly
adopted in the act of 1713, CH. 4, (which is still in
force,) for regulating writs of error and granting
appeals from and to the courts of common law--
and there had been in 1642, 1678 and 1694, acts
of assembly concerning appeals.
