Ch. 12, 2 Bl. Com. 450 and 451. I have not
found any proceedings to shew that this statute
extended to the province--or that there were any
such fairs generally held as could have rendered
it applicable, although the privilege of holding
fairs has been annexed to some towns.
I have heard that it was decided in Anne-Arundle
county court, that there was no such place as
a market overt for the sale of horses recognised
in this state.
