                                                        STATUTES NOT FOUND APPLICABLE.                                                        47

    CHAP. 3.  Courts.
    CHAP. 5.  Sessions.
CHAP. 6.  The penalties of the man and woman,
where a woman ravished doth consent.--
In an appeal of rape the defendant shall not wage
battle.

    CHAP. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

CHAP. 6.  The part of this statute respecting
an appeal of rape, has never been extended to the
province.  As to the other part respecting dower,
I do not find it noted in the English authorities,
as to what shall be a bar of dower, except in 1
Hale, 631--and in that respect the provisions in
West. 2, (13 Edw. 3, Ch. 34,) appear to be to the
same purpose.
    CHAP's. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.  Some of
those are printed in latin only, and of the others
the titles only are given.

Statutes made at Westminster, 7 Rich. 2.--A. D. 1383.

STATUTES.

    CHAP. 1.  Church.
    CHAP's 3 and 4.  Forest.
    CHAP. 5.  Vagabonds.
CHAP. 7.  In what case a nisi prius shall be
granted at the suit of any of the jurors.
    CHAP. 10.  Assize of rents.
    CHAP. 11.  Victuallers.
    CHAP. 12.  Allen.--Benefice.
    CHAP. 13.  Armour.
    CHAP. 14.  Licence.
    CHAP. 15.  Maintenance, &c.

NOTES.

CHAP. 15.  See the note on 3 Edw. 1, Ch. 25.

Statutes made at Westminster, 8 Rich. 2.--A. D. 1384.

STATUTES.

    CHAP. 2.  Assize.
CHAP. 4.  The penalty, if a judge or clerk
make a false entry, rase a roll, or change a verdict.

    CHAP. 5.  Marshall.

NOTES.

CHAP. 2.  See the note on 9 Hen. 3, Ch. 12.
CHAP. 4.  This statute is not mentioned by
Blackstone, in speaking of the offence of embezzling
or vacating a record, but the Stat. 8, Hen. 6,
is therein referred to; but at any rate, this statute
never extended to the province, and there is
no instance of a prosecution under either.  See
the act of 1715, Ch. 11, and the act of 1642, for offences
not capital.
