CHAP. 21. Related to frauds, &c. in Great-Britain.
CHAP. 22. This statute created a new felony;
it was occasioned by devastations committed near
Waltham, in Hampshire, by persons in disguise,
or with their faces blacked. There is no case of
a prosecution under this statute during the provincial
government, or any other circumstance to
shew that it was extended.
