The joint resolution to repay to Henry P. Rose and others
the amounts paid by them respectively on receiving commis-
sions as constables, which commissions have been decided
by the Court of Appeals to be void,
Being upon a third reading,
Mr. Mullin, (by unanimous consent,) submitted the fol-
lowing amendment:
First line, strike out the words "day of," and insert the
words, in the month of November.
